It is however surprising to learn that one of the most easily identifiable dinosaurs was actually a creature with many teeth; these teeth belonged to the Nigersaurus. This animal was of the Cretaceous era and it had quite an uncommon dental set up; in its mouth it had over 500 teeth in lines. Such teeth were consistently regenerated throughout its life stage hence effectively enabling it to feed on plants.
